MOHSEN MAKHMALBAF - Reżyser
Urodzony w 1957 roku w Teheranie. Początkowo poświęcił się literaturze. Napisał kilka powieści, opowiadań i W 1982 roku napisał „Kryształowy ogród”, a rok później „Kupkę króla”. Prawie jednocześnie rozwinął się twórczo jako reżyser filmowy. Zadebiutował w 1983 roku filmem Tobeh Nosuh. Od tego czasu zrealizował 19 filmów, licznie nagradzanymi. Zajmuje się także pisaniem scenariuszy dla innych twórców i montażem. Pomagał najstarszej córce, Samirze przy jej debiucie reżyserskim pt. Jabłko, do którego napisał scenariusz.
